Vitamins in the fridge?

Posted on 9th November 2010 in Natural health for children

I could stock a small health food store with the amount of vitamin supplements and homeopathics I have in my house. But at this time of the year – with the first burst of warmer weather, I put them all back in the fridge for 6 months. Supplements don’t like to warm up beyond a certain point, and homeopathics are even more sensitive, so it’s not worth the risk of leaving them in the pantry. (especially in our non-air conditioned kitchen!)

So, after our first dose of summer weather today, they’re all back in the fridge – and I’m going to have to start looking around for an eco-friendly cool room I think. My stocks have grown over winter!
