Dr Helen Smith is a medical doctor practising Holistic Medicine at the Auckland Holistic Centre, 4 Brickfield Way, Freemans Bay in central Auckland, New Zealand.

Dr Helen Smith’s areas of specialty include Well Woman Health Checks, Energy and Hormonal Problems for Women, Nutritional Medicine and Dietary Therapy. Dr Helen has worked in the area of holistic medicine for many years and has a special interest in children.

Dr Helen has done radio interviews, writes for a health magazine and has appeared on TV with her work as a medical doctor. She has done many hours of work helping educate others including giving health talks to nurses and other community groups on holistic (nutritional) medicine.

Having been in clinical practice for the past twenty years, Dr Helen has a wealth of experience in the medical and natural health field and has completed post graduate studies in nutritional medicine.

NUTRITIONAL COACH
Many parents take it upon themselves to do their own research into ways to help their children.  The internet has made this accessible to most of us, and the quest for information is of course common to parents of children with or without special needs.
I know from my own experience that shopping for nutritional supplements for your child can be extremely difficult and overwhelming.  Which ones to buy? Which brands are the best in quality, dosage, form, value for money? Probiotics for example can vary in strength from millions to billions of good bacteria per dose.
I often wished I could hire an independent practitioner – with no brand loyalties – to help me select the most suitable products for my son. Now Dr Helen can do this for you.

With this coaching service, you can book Dr Helen for fifteen minutes for a short question or a half hour for more detailed review.  Dr Helen can look over your nutritional objectives, the products you have been using and any other products on the market which you would like her to compare for you.  Are you using a protocol for your child but would like to compare it with others?  Is your child sick of the taste of one protocol so you’d like to consider an alternative?  Are you trying to choose between a few different products and can’t decide which one to begin with? Dr Helen can help anyone make these decisions, anywhere in the world – all you need to do is fill in a form, and Dr Helen  will provide you with answers to as many queries as you have – specifically for your child. (This service is available for anyone, not just children). With her extensive knowledge of available products, Dr Helen is perfectly qualified to point you in the direction of the best products for your needs, even if you haven’t found them yourself.

One Nutritional Coaching session could save you in terms of expense as well as relieving the anguish of uncertainty about whether you have the right product for your family’s needs.

If you are already seeing a practitioner, this coaching service can help you without cutting across the advice you are already receiving as it is coaching only – not nutritional advice.

NUTRITIONAL ADVICE
Whatever your health objective, Dr Helen can help by tailoring a nutritional supplement program for any member of your family. You may have read Naturally Better and be looking to introduce the supplements discussed in it for your own child – Dr Helen can advise which ones would be suitable and in what dosages.  Again, this can be done for anyone, anywhere.

We’ve set up this service mainly to help those who can’t get to a local Nutritionist.  Once this advice is sought, Dr Helen can recommend products including practitioner-grade supplements which cannot be bought over the counter here in Australia. Also she can recommend products which are available directly to the public.

Prior to doing your consultation, Dr Helen will ask that a form be filled in and whether you prefer to do your consultation by email or phone / skype.
